  3. Bloody Maria's (tequila) are my thing but have tried wine and cidre too. I waited 6 weeks for the tequila and 8 months for the cider but I don't have problems with carbonation at all
  4. Mine started at 2 months and quit at 9. Fortunately I have enough hair for 2 people so it wasn't traumatic for me but it was unsettling to see so much hair in the drain after a shower. Only took regular bariatric supplements. My dr said nothing would keep it from happening. My eyelashes were already very thin (I'm 61 and that's normal) but I started using latisse which is rogaine for eyes. Works beautifully.
  5. MyFitnessPal lets you add your own recipes with portion sizes so you can quickly add your meals to the tracker. It seems a little delusional to me to think any of us got to the point that we needed wls by overeating and will miraculously not need to track afterward. I'm afraid you're setting yourself up for failure if you don't.
  6. I'm 1 year out and can drink as much carbonation as I want. We're all different. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Mine just keep getting longer but I think I'll just keep slinging them up with a bra. My arm wings on the other hand have got to go. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. I agree our attitudes have a lot to do with it but I can't help be a little pissed off when someone says "now you can date again". I must have been horribly undeserving when I was fatter. But...it is an ego booster when the vet walks into your cat's appointment and says "wow, you're pretty- I mean that's a pretty sweater" Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. The tannins in coffee retard healing so my dr had us wait until 8 weeks out to drink it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I eat kashi go lean in my Greek yogurt or with fruit and fairlife milk. Good carbs are necessary. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. I do have ADD. Weighed 200 when I was diagnosed and started meds. Weighed 250ish when I had to quit meds because of blood pressure. I think it probably contributes to poor impulse control but I can't point to anything else specific that it effects. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. 6 months out I started eating those smartpop 100 calorie bags. Perfect size and VERY satisfying. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Well, I'm a grazer and not all that concerned about it. I build my grazing habits into my fitness pal daily plan so that I stay within my limits. I'm officially down 60 pds today since 2/29/16 and am very happy with my progress towards my 100 pds goal. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. Omg! 38g longer. My cat uses one for a pillow when I sleep on my side. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. Amy's refried black Beans and canned chicken, cheese, salsa and sour cream. Yummy! I ate this in the soft food stage but it's good after too. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. @@careya123 We could be twins. My goal is to shop in normal size stores and departments which I reached a month ago (within 6 months post surgery). I'm only at 60% of my EBW and people are asking if I really want to lose 40 pds more. I know I do but I'm not panicked about this stall. Yet... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
