  6. Hi, Bigguy and beenpohl! My husband and I were sleeved on Feb.25 and 29th too! We are both doing well. He has lost more than I have (40 and 30 lbs) but we are just plugging along, following our program. I was having the light-headed , clammy, ready to pass out feeling too, especially if I had a 30 gm smoothie first thing in the morning. It was terrible! I've starting drinking Water first thing when I wake up and having a greek yogurt for Breakfast. I save the smoothie for late morning and drink it slower than before. This seems to really help with the light-headed feeling. We are both REALLY tired, though. I keep waiting for this big energy boost and it doesn't seem to be happening yet. I think drinking more water may help with the tired feeling so I'm trying to work on that. Also, maybe we'll feel better when we're eating regular food?? My husband has starting drinking a half cup of coffee and it helps him. I know all of these annoying side-effects will eventually go away so keep at it!! Good luck! 7. Lalajade, I am in the exact same boat as you. And, we have the same surgery date! I had a sleeve, how about you? I lost 15 lbs on the 2wk pre-op liquid diet and have lost 14 since surgery. I am also following the program by the book. I don't think it's that uncommon to slow your weight loss a bit post-op if you had a lot of success pre-op. My doctor was happy with my total weight loss since starting with him and told me not to worry. We'll see what he says at the 1 month post-op appt! Sometimes I get frustrated, especially since my husband, who had his sleeve done 4 days before me, is loosing a tremendous amount of weight. I've stopped weighing myself every day and have decided to just keep at it and it will happen. Other than some light walking, I'm not exercising yet and I expect that this will help my weight loss. I'm just waiting to have enough energy to get back to the gym!! Keep at your program and the weight will come off! Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
