  1. Thank you everyone!!!! I am starting fresh tomorrow!!!!
  2. Hello Sleevinpops, in the beginning I was working out at the gym doing Cardio, tracking my food on MyFitnessPal and meal prepping. Now I am just in my old ways. Eating unhealthy food & not tracking anything or exercising. My job does require me to walk somewhat during the day so I do get a few thousand steps in
  3. Thank you clc9 & Jodster! I am going to try my best to get back on track. Start fresh tmrw
  4. Hello all, i know that this is a long post, but I would really appreciate your responses. I am in a real shitty situation! I had the Gastric Sleeve Surgery back in July of 2016, which makes it 8 months post op. At first everything was going well, the first month I lost 18 lbs, the second month I lost 6, then the third 5, then the fourth stayed the same, then it was Thanksgiving and Christmas (Holiday Season) and thats when it all went down hill. I stayed the same weight until after christmas. At this point up to christmas I lost about 30lbs in 5 months, and now I gained some weight and my total weight loss is 22 lbs, so I gained 8lbs from december until now (March 29th). I really want to start losing the weight again, but im afraid that it won't come off as fast as it would have closer to surgery. In 4 months it will already be a year!
  5. Thanks! That makes me feel a little better! I was up to 18lbs and wanted to hit 20lbs before my 2 week appt, but now im set back to 15lbs!It will go away in a day or two once your body realizes it doesn't need it. My body is the queen of water retention. Try drinking more water then you normally do and see if that helps. Okay thank you!

  7. I jumped on the scale yesterday morning and it said 226.6, and now this morning it's saying 229.9! I was completely shocked and frustrated! I have no idea why Or how I could gain 3.3lbs overnight but I am not happy! I even went to the gym yesterday and did 30 minutes on the treadmill (Dr Approved Treadmill only). Has anyone else experienced this? I know that my weight is going to fluctuate, but 3.3 lbs really? I can deal with 1-2lbs but not almost 4!
  8. @@KristenLe : I had creamed soup and I didn't like it very much. I am not on any meds and in fact I stopped taking my pain medication because I no longer have pain
  9. Hey Everyone, so I had my surgery on Mon-July-25th & started a liquid diet on July 24th. I am still on a liquid diet and I am 8 days post op. I was wondering how long you were on a liquid diet after surgery? I am starting to get hungry (even though most of it is my mind playing tricks), but it would be nice to have some pureed food or even yogurt! Yesterday I started getting lightheaded and it's back again today I am drinking my liquids, having broth, jello, & premier protein. Did any of you go through this?
  10. thank you! I know it will get better, but I can't picture having this pain for 3 weeks since im only 5 days post op! I wish they had something for pulled muscles
  11. So I thought my big incision was the one hurting a lot, but it is really the muscle a few inches below my big incision. I spoke to my Surgeon and asked him if I could use Biofreeze and he said I could use creams & Gels, but I was just wondering if any of you have used this or anything similiar before I do?
  12. I don't think I can deal with this for a month I am only on tylenol right now.
  13. Hi everyone! so today I am 4 days post op & the only pain I have is the biggest incision where they removed my stomach from. I only feel pain when I walk up the stairs, move a certain way, or have to use the bathroom. I know this isn't that serious, but I would like to know when Your big incision stopped hurting. I have been using a heating pad daily & putting a pillow on my stomach which helps, but doesn't stop the pain completely.
  14. Thank you! I hope mine can be like 2 weeks since I just signed up for the gym
  15. Hi everybody, I was just wondering how long after surgery were you able to start exercising besides walking? I know I won't be able to lift weights, but I would like to still use my elliptical and treadmill.
  16. How much did you lose during the pre-op liquid diet? My surgeon only requires one day before surgery to do the liquid diet but I'm considering on doing it more if I can lose 10-15lbs?
  17. Wow thats great! I hope I can lose that much! I am 240lbs, 5'4, and 23y/o.
  18. I will be getting the Gastric Sleeve at the end of July. I am a male and was just wondering how much I could expect to lose 1 month post op. I understand that everybody is different, but would like to see where people stand after one month. I appreciate your responses
  19. I was just assigned to my surgeon today. His name is Dr. Richard Perugini at UMASS Hospital in Worcester Mass and was just wondering if anybody else has had him or anyone else at UMASS?

  21. My Insurance company said that they don't require any program and only need the Pre-Authorization from my doctor! But now I have to find out if my doctor is going to require a program, but I dont know if he will because my insurance only covers the surgery.
  22. Hey all, I was just wondering if anybody has or is going to get surgery at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester Mass? I was wondering what the doctors are like?
