    PCOS and hypothyroidism

I have both and had my Bypass on July 13, 2016. For me it has drastically reduced my symptoms and I have lost 85 lbs. I do not regret having surgery at all and am feeling amazing! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. I had a RNY on July 13th and have already lost 73 lbs since my 2 week pre op! I am happy with my results but I am down to 172 which is pretty hard for me to wrap my head around. Is this to fast? I still can only eat just a little over 1/4 cup of food. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  13. I am 6 days post opp and am feeling pretty good. I am off my narcotic pain meds and not too sore. I am just having a hard time drinking enough liquid and getting all of my Protein. It sits fine in my stomach I just have zero appetite! I hit 50 g of protein and about 45 oz of Water today but could not do any more. Does any one have any good tips on how to get through this? I have my post opp class tomorrow and go to my puréed foods so maybe that will be easier. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Struggling

I had to read your post again because I thought it was mine. I did great on the pre opp but now that I am six days out I have no appetite and am having a hard time getting in all my liquids and Protein. Puréed foods start tomorrow so I am hoping it will be easier. Good luck ... You are not alone Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. I am 40 years old and am having RNY in the next couple of months. I have PCOS and auto immune Thyroid disease. I am very excited for surgery as I want to look how I feel inside (does that make sense?) and also regain my health. I am 5'5 and 242lbs. I am wondering if it is normal to be worried about losing too much weight? For vanity purposes I do not want to have loose skin etc. I have a good muscle tone so I feel like I will be fine. I know the health benefits far out weigh anything else however, it is a concern. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
