I also had eggs for the first time yesterday (surgery 6.19.19) and after half an egg with a little bit of hummus for taste and I was able to keep it down with no problems but I definitely was full and made sure to stop when I felt even slightly full.

Congrats! I had mine done a week ago. I had never had surgery before so it was a... different experience. [emoji1] However, after a few days I started feeling like myself again with some tenderness. I hope the nausea/ dizziness subsides sooner than later. Good luck![emoji106]

Hey! So I'm not sure if I'm overpacking but I also packed pads (my nurse said women tend to get their menses from stress and the pads at the hospital are super uncomfortable), body wipes and feminine wipes.

The same happened to me! I started my pre-op diet on 6/3. I had consistently lost 1 lbs a day until about three days so when I gained 3 lbs. I've been following my diet very strictly. I thought maybe I was eating too much salt in my one meal so I drank lots of water and cooked with way less salt. I've lost half of a pound but not what I thought I would lose. I'm wondering if I'm not having enough shakes or not measuring my portions correctly. Idk but now with you asking the same question, maybe it's just something that happens. ??‍♀️

Im right there with you... 6 more days! Sometimes thinking about it makes me super nervous but I'm overall pretty excited about it. [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3][emoji106]

I'll hopefully be having my surgery in one week. The diet isn't so bad (probably because I'm allowed a meal a day) but I have to say I'm getting realllly nervous. Never had surgery before. Hoping that I won't chicken out.

Thanks! And yes, today was my first day on the liquid diet although my surgeon is allowing me to have one meal a day. I have to say... day 1 wasnt so bad [emoji39]

Hello all! I'm kind of new to this although I've been reading forums for a while now. After years of going back and forth between deciding if i should have surgery or not, Im finally going through with this. [emoji1] I'm schedule for June 17th. I have to say...I am so excited to finally be getting this done...
