  1. Hello! I just joined BariatricPal and saw your post. I got pregnant at 13 months post-RNY. While my husband and I had planned to have another baby, we were planning to wait until 18-24 months after my surgery, to make sure my weight had stabilized. Even though it happened sooner than planned, I had a successful pregnancy. My appetite nearly tripled (which was hard to handle emotionally but hey, I needed to feed the baby!) and I just had a couple more ultrasounds than usual. I gained about 35 pounds total, and the entire pregnancy was successful. My son is now 3 and is very happy and healthy. My advice would be to wait until your weight has stabilized, or at least until you're no longer losing rapid amounts of weight. And good luck
