Hi I had sleeve surgery on the 27 of july. Things are going good. I look at each day as a new challenge. I have to be on full liquids for total of 3 weeks. About half way through. After that mushy food and 64 oz of Fluid each day for 3 weeks. Then to somewhat finding out what foods my new tummy likes. I can't have Pasta bread or grains until I have lost 75 percent of the projected weight loss. Good luck to you and stay positive. Best wishes from Idaho! I know that sleep apnea, high blood pressure are a couple. Hopefully you will get the answers you want. Good luck with that. Hope things work out for you.

Most people could care less what you eat. They will be eating and not caring. Just tell them whatever you want...this is your life and you dont owe anyone an explanation. Hi I started this at the first of the year. My insurance required 6 months of doctor supervised weight loss efforts. I was just sleeved 9 days ago. I was very bummed to have to wait that long and almost chose to not have it. Guess what? There were so many things including classes, etc that the time flew by. I am so grateful that I had the six months and classes my hospital had to get my head wrapped around this life changing journey. Mostly it just depends on your particular insurance requirements. Had my sleeve last wednesday came home the next day. Doing well each day comes with challenges. Drink..drink..drink. Some pain by the larger incision. Total of 5 small incisions. The small ones each have 2 staples..the larger one has 5. Get staples out Thursday. Each day gets a little better. A bit hard for me getting out of bed by myself without pulling too much. Just had the sleeve yesterday. I survived without any problems. Pain level is tolerable. I could go home today but have to pass gas and drink the amount if required fluid. Perhaps tomorrow. So glad to have this part of my journey over. I am walking lots around the hospital halls. It makes me feel better. Good luck all. No pokemon in the halls that I can find! I cant believe after 6 months of tests, classes, and approval tomorrow is the day. I know there are several of us having surgery tomorrow. Good luck to all. I was told no bread crackers etc till 75% of my goal weight loss. It also gives stomach time to hesl without food sticking. My surgery is next wednesday. Excited...but scared. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

They said it could take 2 weeks. Thursday will be 2 weeks. Put in another call today. We will see if they call. Ugh.Keep me posted on your situation. Maybe we can keep each other positive. Good luck to you!!
