My story… OPEN Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery (RNY) in 2002; Revision in 2016
I haven't been on here in forever but wanted to post a quick update. I'm down to 147 which I still find crazy my goal was 155. I'm preparing to have a lower body lift and I'm hoping for some breast "work" but I still need to see a few more surgeons.

Hey surgery sisters and brothers!!! How's it going? Having issues with anything I can help with (seriously ask anything)? I have so many food ideas - working from home has its benefits! I can pretty much eat whatever but I haven't pushed that boundary to far.. I'm still a tuna pouch loving hippie LOL. This revision has been a trip....I'm down 30 pounds and wow the attention makes my head spin (my wifey has been very complimentary) ... I'm only 5'2" (on a good day) so weight looks different on us short chicks... let's see the latest weird "compliment" was "dang you're stacked" so I'm guessing my boobs are still huge compared to the fact that I finally HAVE A DEFINDED WAIST again. I had to go in the basement and find bras that my 'ladies' aren't just swimming in and can present well (LOL). Going in the basement has become a shopping experience for me the last week or so. The date of our first date is April 3rd so I like to Celebrate our "dateiversary" and I went to Target looking for a cute dress. I found one and tried it on for my best friend. She said "ummmm K that's too big on you can you get a smaller size?" I was shocked! I went and got a smaller size and its a misses LARGE - I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around it. I REALLY wish I could find a local in person support group but so far no dice

RonJon - where did you find the Mr. Cheese O's in your target? I walked around and found $70 of other stuff I probably didn't need but I couldn't find those -- help? Thanks so much in advance! I never found them in Target. Actually, I have never even tried them. I was saying that I needed to... Whoops I'm sorry! I misread

Monster rehab are tea with energy so no carbonation if you need that extra energy kick. They have several flavors too [emoji41]

I'm just posting a quick update. In 5 weeks I've dropped 24 pounds weighing in between 176-177. I'm going to a baby shower tomorrow - I'm excited/nervous about if anyone will notice the loss. I can't wait although I am a bit leery of the lunch that will be served so I'm going to pack a Water bottle and a pouch of tuna (poured into a bowl so its not top obvious). food wise I'm on regular foods and my typical day is high Protein (90+) low carb (-100) low fat (-35) with all the Fiber I can handle. I did have a hot dog on a bun when I got caught unprepared earlier this week and have really beat myself up a about that even though I chewed thoroughly and didn't have any digestive issue. My only complaint is constipation (gross) hence trying to get in lots of fiber. Thats all for now time for bed

Happy Dt. Patrick's Day all . We aren't supposed to have green beer (stupid bubbles), corned beef (too fatty) or cabbage (none of us need extra gas!!) so here to sipping as much green Water as possible all day!!! Enjoy :-)

I agree with @It's Time. I can can tell a huge difference from when I eat a pouch of tuna compared to a 3.5oz 90/10 beef burger patty (made in a cast iron skillet YUM!).

I'm getting all my protein from regular food now for the most part but my plumbing hasn't been as traumatized as everyone else. I do treat myself to the protein ice cream at night if I haven't gotten 80g but I haven't "indulged" so to speak in two days. Have you tried Isopure zero? It comes in a bunch of flavors and is clear so not as challenging yo choke down. A 20oz bottle has 40g protein. I hope you feel better fast fast fast!! (Hugggggggggs)

Protein drinks...freezable?
I make protein ice cream about twice a week. It's my favorite evening treat i put whatever protein shake i like at the time in the blender on high till it doubles, turn on the ice cream maker then slowly pour the shake mix in - i have protein ice cream in about 16 minutes for soft serve. I put it in the freezer for an hour or so for scoopable.
