I just got my date, 2/25/16. I was approved Monday the 8th and surgery was scheduled today. I'm so happy. I love this forum all of you are so supportive. I am open to any advice. Thank you all????☺️

My BMI is 50 and my paperwork was submitted two weeks ago to the insurance company and I was just informed today I was approved for surgery on 2/8/15 I'm currently waiting on my surgeons bariatric coordinator to call me back with my date. If I start the pre-op diet this week that puts my surgery at the end of the month. I started my journey in November 2015 Psych eval 3 months of weight loss classes EGD Pulmonary clearance Cardio clearance Letter of support from PCP Surgery scheduled for 2/25/15

I just talk to my insurance company and I'm so happy my surgery was approved today. I'm currently waiting for my surgeons bariatric coordinator to call me back with my date. I'm so excited.

Is anyone from Michigan and have DMC care insurance? I've completed all of the required test and I'm waiting approval. I'm so nervous. I called the insurance company twice and it's says still pending however they said call back Tuesday which is tomorrow and I'm so nervous. They also said my surgeon office gave them a surgery date of 2/18 not sure why because I have not started the 2 week diet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
