Is this going to get easier?
The gas pains are pretty much gone. It's more of the discomfort when I drink that is really challanging for me now.

Is this going to get easier?
I am 2 days post op... Trying to get my liquids in. My chest feels so tight and I'm sipping so slow. This is miserable... Pretty grateful that most of the gas pains are gone though.

Day 2: most gas has subsided. Got nausceos and threw up a little. Trying to get liquids down so I can go home. The more I sleep the better I feel.

Happiness
Hi all, it went really well but I did not expect to be in this much discomfort. My chest is just killing me. My surgery was at 1 and they won't let me drink anything until 9. My mouth is so dry. Can't lie I am hating life right now

Happiness
Today is the big day, March 7th at 1pm. I literally have these intense feelings of bliss, happiness, and a good kind of anxiousness. I went from being completely paranoid about the anesthesia to getting over that fear. Not completely but for the most part. And I now I am just so grateful for all the support I have and all that I have learned from this forum. I feel so completely READY. The first day I came onto this site a girl wrote to me and said girl enjoy your journey and omg what amazing words. This has been such a journey so far and I just feel endless gratitude for the good and the bad. I was literally in the hospital having a panic attack two weeks ago to hysterically crying to a friend about my biggest fears to now being so happy. Thanks for all the support and nice words and story sharing. See you all on the other side.

Depression & VSG
I'm not on any meds but definitely suffer with anxiety and the build up to surgery day is not helping. I feel that possitivity is key for you if you are genuinely considering the sleeve & you will find tons of that here. Good luck.

Support lacking
This time is about you. You are getting healthier and take the steps to do so. I had to sit someone down and say hey listen up I need you now more than ever so wake up and smell the coffee because support is a very big part in this. The best someone can do is acceptable but for someone to make it known that they have your back is better and it's ok for someone to go out of there way for you... You are worth and deserving. I have a pretty good support system (and to me one genuinely supportive person that allows you to be unfiltered equals a good support system) I have found so much support here.. I think you will truly find comfort here too. Hang in there... I realize how hard this count down until the big day is, it's been a struggle for me... I'm trusting strangers who have been in my shoes that tell me this is going to be the best decision of my life... And I believe them.

Thanks all I appreciate the feedback. I realize that the CPAP is not for the surgery itself but was just nervous about not having it for postop.
