Getting sleeved July 12
Hi there, I was sleeved on the 12th. I'm doing pretty good. Not getting in all my fluids. I'm gonna try really hard tomorrow. My energy level is getting better everyday. I have 3 little ones so I really don't have much of a choice to lay around. I took a 3 hour nap today. That was the best!

Self Payer in Florida
Hello, I am going to be self pay since my insurance excludes bariatric surgery. I am looking for a recommendation for a surgeon that was a good price and had a great experience. I am willing to travel North or South in FL. In my area (Orlando) the average price for self pay is approx. $14,500. There is a surgery center that does the sleeve as an out-patient procedure. I am a little hesitation about that. It is around $10,500. Thank you! =)

Aetna insurance
Hi Biglady904, Do you have your insurance through your job? Or is it a private one? My job has excluded any bariatric surgery so I was looking into a private one that will cover it. So far no luck!

North Carolina question
My husband and I will be relocating to the Charlotte, North Carolina area. I will be getting insurance when I get there. Can anyone give me some info about the process I need to go through in order to get gastric sleeve surgery approved. I live in Florida and insurance will not pay for it at all. Thanks for your help!

Florida independent insurance question
I have CIGNA. But my employer did not buy the bariatric surgery part of the insurance. I do not qualify for Medicaid. Does anybody know of a coinsurance I can buy that will cover gastric sleeve surgery?
