  1. Who's your surgeon?Meireles. Please tell it to me straight if you know something bad..... I'm a heartbeat "literaly" away from pulling the plug on this and just diet and exercise. No nothing bad!!! I had my surgery in Boston and my surgeon rotates between mass gen and Boston medical so just wondering if they were the same!

  4. So I had my surgery the 25th and I've only lost about 10 pounds. I've been 10 pounds lighter for quite a few days. I've hit a stall pretty early on and haven't lost much, is this normal? Day of surgery weight: 240
  5. I had my surgery the 25th of January and can eat solids on Tuesday also
  6. Just wondering how far out everyone was when they got to eat solids
  7. I was the exact same way. I had a bad reaction to the morphine. Dont worry day 3 I felt so much better and was able to even have a protein shake the nausea was there but nothing like the the first 2 days. Hang in there!!
  8. I feel like a different person today, I feel really good! still tired but back to normal!
  9. I feel the same way when my family eats these big meals in front of me I feel left out and hungry lol
  10. I feel the exact same way
  11. I called my doctor and she said it is very normal to be like this for the next 2 weeks especially for the teens. Just gotta get through this next week and should be good!!
  12. Yes but it doesn't do anything but make me nauseous
  13. Like pain and I'm unable to sleep and can't drink anything without a lot discomfort
  14. So I'm one week out and I'm still miserable. I've been watching videos and reading and it seems a lot of people at 1 week post op feel pretty good. Do you think there's something wrong?
  15. I had surgery the same day believe me you are not alone! I'm going through the exact same thing! Hopefully it will get better
  16. I also started out around the same weight do you mind me asking your age and height? Loose skin is a huge fear of mine but happy to know you can wear a bikini! thanks
  17. Thank you for your response! And sorry if this is a weird question but do you feel comfortable in a bikini now? Like is lt not even a second thought for you. I would like to be able to wear once this summer at best but might have to wait until next year depending on my rate of loss and my loose skin. But very hopeful about that thanks to you guys
  18. I also feel pressure there. I was able to force liquids down fine but now every time I take even the tiniest sip my chest/stomach hurts and I'm burping for a good minute finding it really hard to drink at all now
  19. Same it's not really even hunger pains it's more a mental thing for me like all I do is crave things but can hardly get liquids down without a lot of discomfort
  20. Surprisingly drinking a lot but still pain. Do you have any discomfort still? Also do you miss chewing as much as I do lol
  21. If you drink 60oz of water or over every day until the day before and eat a very very Minimal low sodium diet you may even lose more. You may feel awful at first with hunger pains but in my desperate times before appointments I would do this. You lose all water weight. It's what wrestlers and bodybuilders do before big matches so they can go down a weight category and be the biggest one. Also sweating it out may help
  22. Anyone had their sleeve done on the 25th? If so would love to know how your feeling and what's going on with you post op.
  23. Hi I'm currently 6 days post op and already getting sick of all the liquids. It's hard for me to drink anything and is very uncomfortable but still all I can think about is eating food and Gavin cravings obviously it's all in my head because I'm not even hungry and am in pain. Anyone else go through the same thing?
