    If I understand the procedure with my insurance, I have to have 6 visits with a nutrition counselor for 6 months. I must lose and keep off at least 15lbs of which I am down 25lbs. Plus, bmi needs to be a certain measurement which I had a bmi of 59 when I started. Now I have to wait for a meeting with the surgeon 2 weeks prior to the surgery date. As I understand, insurance approval will occur then. I plan on calling insurance to see when approval will occur as this late date has me concerned.
