Oh, I have to say I'm envious of you, even though a liquid diet must really get tedious. I am anxiously waiting for my insurance paperwork to be submitted and get my approval. LeslieR041906 - who is your doctor in Charlotte? I've gone through my pre-surgical evaluation with Dr. V. Hang in there - I'm sure you'll find it worth it.

I also have Empire Blue EPO plan - did they require a 6 month supervised weight loss program prior to approval?

Hi, I am from Charlotte and just decided to begin the process to be banded. I am waiting for the information to be mailed from Dr.Voellinger's office to complete the sign-up for the Feb 25th seminar and begin getting my insurance things together. I think I may of spoken to you sunsett - I was driving from my car back from Raleigh and couldn't write down any information. Smiley - are you going through your insurance carrier and what was your experience like?

I'm new to the board and to the process of trying to qualify for lapband surgery. I need it and want it, but am looking for your experiences with Charlotte clinics. There are a few and I'd like your input as part of my selection process. Now that I've made up my mind, I am anxious to start and think it is probably best to attend the seminar of the doctor that will do the surgery or does it matter? TIA
