  1. Tiger: Congrats on getting your band. Walking helped me a lot. And Gas-X strips. Leslie: I'm glad you've gotten your revision. How much of a fill did you get with the revision? Brina: Welcome Back! I've missed your posts! Hope all is well with you.
  2. I posted in the six months, should have been five. I was thinking in terms of months and not surgery dates. Sorry. So far, 47lb. loss with 5 month bandiversary on the 18th. Hopefully 60lb. loss by July 18th. Everyone is doing so well. Keep up the good work.
  3. Dallas and AKgirl; Welcome to Bandland!
  4. I started with fitday and changed to thedailyplate.com, checked out sparkepeople, but always come back to thedailyplate. The free version of course.
  5. Wow Mia your ticker is really moving quickly now!!!! Great job! Looks like you're gonna be really close to wedding goal.
  6. Tiger & Leslie; Good luck tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you both.
  7. I've lost 40+ pounds and have gone down 2 shirt/blouse sizes and 1.5 pant sizes. 2 dress sizes depending on the way it's made. I carry most of my weight on the bottom half and tend to lose from the head down as well. I think it just depends on your body type, how much muscle mass you started with and your height. Simply put, everyone is different. Good luck to you.
  8. Thank you to Shinyhappy & Kat for sharing and encouraging. I'm a slow loser with only 43 pounds in nearly six months. I currently have 7cc's in a 10cc band and don't really want to be much tighter at this point. I haven't had any real complications and absolutely LOVE my band as well. I find that as long as I follow the rules, exercise, and get in all my fluids, I do well. So if anyone's researching, this has been one of the best things I've ever done for myself!!
  9. Pamela; I posted on the other thread, but again, you look fantastic!!! Great job.
  10. Congratulations on your date! Best of luck to you.
  11. Brina; I can definitely see it!!! You're doing great. Keep up the good work.
  12. Jonathan; Hope you heal/feel better soon. Congrats on the new truck! Georgia; I forgot to ask, how's the new bodybugg? Can you tell a difference since using it? I'm considering using it. I have a friend that's a trainer and he's got a client that is going to sell. She just got it, and has almost a year of service available. Just wondering if you think it's worth the purchase.
  13. Brina; I hope things get better with your work schedule. I've been blessed in that scheduling isn't an issue for me, but my sister is going through somewhat of the same right now and I know how frustrating it can be. Keep your head up. Leslie; I'm so very sorry this happend to your port!! I would have been devestated as well. Wish you the best on your revision. Take care. Georgia; Congrats on the weightloss!!! Four pounds is great! My weightloss has completely stalled, even with exercise!!! I'm gonna stick it out though. How much of a fill did you get this time?

  20. Just came across this thread. You guys are doing great!! Think I"ll join for accountability. Just started working out so may seem like an ameteur, but have to start somewhere!
  21. Nip: Congrats on reaching onederland!! Great job. Hope all goes well with your insurance approval. Leslie: Congrats on your NSV!! I'm still shopping in my own closet, as I have clothes that will probably take me back at least three sizes!!!!!
  22. Georgia; Sorry to hear about the re-occurance of staph. It's really hard to kick! When I had it, my doctor suggested changing the bed linen everyday and using chlorine bleach on towels. At the time, I just switched to white sheets and towels. And you may already be doing this, but I just thought I'd mention it. Yeah I know, it can be a real drag. I hope you guys feel better soon. Take care.
  23. Mia; Check with Malik everyday! I know it's frustrating, but people cancel all the time. Good luck.
