  1. Sari43 We must be in the same boat. I was banded January 17th 2008 and have only lost about 15 lbs. I've had 3 fills so far - the nurse keeps telling me that we will find the "sweet spot" and when the band is filled to the right amount it will get easier. I have noticed a difference since my last fill but I am still hungry a lot of the time and it is hard work! The weight you've lost so far is a FABULOUS start! bibalitsa (camano island, wa)
  2. Good questions! I want to see the answers too since I just had surgery jan 17th. i have the opposite problem tho in that I am HUNGRY!!!
  3. Any other January bandster feeling HUNGRY? I can't believe how hungry I am and how hard it is to stick to a diet right now. I have my two week checkup in two days. So far I don't feel any restriction. I don't see the need to sip or restrict what I eat I feel like I always do. I hope the usual diet feeling of being hungry all the time goes down when I get my first fill. Someone please tell me this gets easier!!
  4. I had my lapband surgery 01/17 and I'm still recovering. I had a large hiatal hernia so I'm thinking that's the reason I'm still so sore. I have been walking and drinking my water tho. I'm surprised that I'm still retaining so much water! I've GAINED 7 lbs since surgery and have been consuming about 800 calories a day. I can't wait til the recovery period is over and I can begin using my new "tool". I'm happy!
