    Wii Fit

I do not use shoes or socks. It might have something to do with when you weigh in you don't want the extra weight at least for me. I need all the help I can get. Might want to wear shoes if you do the running exercise. I found that helps me. Good Luck and have Fun! Annie
  3. Juli, have you seen your the t-shirt that say's "heterophobic".? I think you can find it on the web thats where I saw it. If I find the web site I will let you know. Good Luck.... Your weight loss is amazing...Annie.

    Wii Fit

I have had the Wii Fit for Two weeks now. I Love it and I end up exercising longer than I thought I would everytime. My Wii Fit age is different everytime. I recomend it to anyone having a hard time motivating to exercise. Annie
  5. Thanks Cheri. I wish now I would have kept it quiet when I got the band. I wish people would just mind their own buisness. So far so good with the Wii Fit. I like it cause I can use it anytime in the privacy of my own home. Have a Great Week. Annie
  6. It's been a while since I have Posted. Hope all are well. I am having a hard time to motivate myself to exercise. I got the Wii Fit. It is so much fun. When I do use it I work out for at least 45mins. It traks your progress along with your weight and BMI. I just can not motivate to use it everyday. I think I am a little depressed. I do not have a partner and my friends and family think the weight should fall off more quickly than it's doing. AAHHH Frustration. Please let me know if anyone else has used the Wii Fit and had success. Thanks for letting me vent. Annie

Hey just wanted to let all of you out there that want a fun motivating way to work out to try the Wii Fit. It is really fun. It tracks your weight and BMI. It also gives you a chance to set goals and gives great advice. The first day my Wii age was 73 two days later I was down to 46. Still older than my real age but getting better. Please let me know if anyone else is using it. Hope all are doing well Annie
  8. I realize I was just banded on Jan. 25th 2008. But I am freaking out. I just have so much to lose. I need to lose over a 100lbs. Glad I found this group. It helps to keep me focused. Anyone else out there overwhelmed?

I took a trip to Dallas over Memorial day weekend and my band tightened up so much I was unable to eat or drink. It got better the next day and did not happen on the trip home. I called Nancy at DePaul and she said this happens sometime. Thanks for the heads up. Next time I fly I think I will get some fluid taken out. Just thought I would let you all know. Maybe you all know this but if you don't I feel it's important. Annie
  10. To Tom from Ohio, Sorry to hear you have to lose so much on liquids. I weighed in at 275 on surgery day and did not have to lose any before surgery. Did you question the doc's reason for so much weight needing to be lost this way? My opinion is it's an excessive amount to lose in such a short time. Good Luck. It will be all worth it in the end.
  11. Yes it is normal to go through a long process before ever seeing the doctor. I went to De Paul and did not see Dr. Scott until I was approved by my insurance. I think its a time/money thing. Good Luck in your process. Keep us posted on it. Cosmo

How is everyone doing. I have not posted in a long time so I thought I'd post. I just got my second fill on Thursday. I can only eat a tiny tiny bit. I have been slow losing weight so I am hoping this will speed things along. The weather improving is good also. Hope everyone is doing well. Annie

Brandy, I asked someone in the waiting room if they were MissouriMom. They were not of course. What time were you there? They were running behind this am. I did fine thanks for your replys. Don't understand why we have to be on clear liquids? Annie

Thanks I will let you know how it goes. I go to radiology so I guess they will do it there. Either way I will be glad to get it numbed up instead of just going it alone with the needle. Thanks again Annie

Cythia, I am always over in your area. I walk my dog there when the weather is good and my cousin lives on the park. Coffee would be great for us to meet and be of some support. StLouisGal I hope you enjoy your soup when you can have some. I have learned to eat soup without crackers. Never thought I could do that. Take Care Annie
  19. Katie, Glad to hear you did well. Hope all is smooth sailing for you from here on out. There has not been much action on this thread. Hope everyone is doing well. I am iced in so I check the boards often. Annie

Pat aka StLouisGal, Glad to hear you made it to the group. I am a whimp and did not go because of traffic. I also live in South City. Benton Park to be exact. How are you feeling. how is the liquid diet going? I am almost out of milk, and the weather is not good for driving. Yuk. I am suppose to work tonight but hoping I get called off. Just wanted to say hey. TTYL Annie
  21. I am going crazy!! My family - mainly my older sister, is telling what to eat when to eat, when not to eat. It drives me crazy. I am doing everything right just as the doctor has said, I've been losing as I am suppose to. I've tried nicely to talk to her and others and they just say "Oh I just care about you" Its my life. I am the one who decides when, what, how much, ect.. to eat. The band is life altering they don't know how I am feeling. UUGG!! Thanks for letting me vent. Any comments are welcome.

I will not be at the support group on the 20th due to the fact of what time they hold it and traffic getting there. I wish I had the time to get there. As far as getting a fill on March 6th- I go at 8:50 am. I will be on the look out for other bandsters. Later-- StlouisGal-- how did your surgery go?

StLouisGal, Your not there long enough to need anything. Maybe a pillow. I was not on the 6th floor. They had me in the step down unit for some reason. I think my o2 stats. I just wanted to sleep. I also got up and walked cause I hated those things they put on your legs. It's good to get up and walk as soon as you feel able. Just try to relax it will all be fine. Annie
