  1. Hi I was sleeved on the 25th of Jan, my diet has been consisting of pureed and liquidized foods, today I made some super soft scrambled egg and when eating it chewed it a lot and mushed it using the roof of my mouth. I didn't realise this wasn't on my food list until I re-read my diet sheet today. I'm not supposed to start foods like this for another 2 weeks, should I call my Dr's direct line or is it not an emergency?
  2. 5th day post op, finally home. Got tucked into bed all comfy. Woke up almost on my back with some stuff caught in my throat/lungs and I couldn't get up coughing so hard and in so much pain I woke my family up, they helped me situp and even then it was 5 minutes of painful coughing, feeling like your stomach is white hot and burning to the touch. I had a bit of a break down, I just want to feel normal again. I've had such a low pain tolerance all my life and now I wish I was a lot more tougher lol. I took 2x 30mg codeine to hopefully ease the pain. Anyone have any tips for managing coughing better? My physio told me to put a pillow on my stomach and hug it hard when coughing but it's not really doing much, I feel like I rushed into this and didn't mentally prepare myself for the pain of all of this. :'(
  3. On my 2nd day I cried for hours regretting my decision, wishing I could go pack because of the pain. I'm on day 4 and it's getting easier, I'm sure in a week or 2 we'll both be fine
  4. Hi I was sleeved on the 25th of Jan and my recovery has been quite rough. I'm on day 4 and going home today. My pains are a lot worse than yesterday though (maybe I moved around too much) and my doc has prescribed me a Multivitamin that you pop in Water drink, it's some orange flavoured thing which is slightly carbonated, but even after leaving it 30 mins for all the "fizz" to go after 2 sips I feel so nauseas and light headed, anyone have any tips for taking it? Thanks
