  1. I remember those days! I'm 3 years post now, BTW. I remember standing in my kitchen thinking what in the world have I done to myself I had hurt so badly. My pre op story was much like yours, banded with significant hernia repair. It took me about a week to feel better and then another week for me to tolerate a full day of work. It was a process, but it took some time to get over the surgery! Good luck. If the pain persists longer than that, I would certainly be in touch with my surgeon!
