What do you mean I opened the box saw the band and signed by my S/N I have a Patient Identification Card, exrays and have been for adjustments twice. Yes he was very nice put also very professional. Again I'm sorry for your experience

I so sorry... I received my band from Dr. Huacuz in March of 2006 and he sends me updates form his pratice all the time. I've lost 50 pounds and only have 30 pounds to go. I went for a band adjustment Tuesday of last week November 21 and my doctor here in Columbia said that I had the best placed port that he has seem. It was very easy to get to making my adjustmest almost pain free. Needle always hurt. Did your wife get a new band? Oh yeah he was not with mayo clinic when I received my band.

Me and my best friend went to him in March of this year (2006) and our experience could not have been better. She has not had one fill and has lost over 50 pounds. I've had 2 fills and a reflux problem and have lost 50 pounds. When I had my reflux problem he told me exactly what to tell my doctor here to do form me and everything is great now!!! He phoned me back with in 3 hours of my email and has since kept intouch with me to make sure I'm doing well. I'm sorry to hear about your wife, I hope all is well now.

so do you think it works like nexium??? What about slippage or erosion do you know what the systoms form those are?

What are nsaids?

I have noticed sice the refulx i have lost a great deal more weight and faster. Thats why i hope i can live with it so the weight loss will continue. I was losing about 1 pound a week now it 3 or 4 pounds, for the past 2 weeks.

Is protonix anything like prevacid?

Me too honey thats why i didn't go for an unfill!!! i figured if it way to bad then i would go but as long as i can handle it with diet and nexium i wont get an unfill. i would rather stay on nexium the rest of my life. I dont do well the prevacid or tums what about yall?

Wonder why some of us burp and burp a great deal and others can not??? I do know when my burping started I found out i had reflux. It got so bad i could not even hold down water. i went to my gp and she put me on nexium and my doctor in mexico told me to get an unfill immediatly but i dont have anyone in S.C. that will see me so I didn't do that. I just took the nexium and went to a liquid diet and now I'm getting where i can hold down food. I had no idea the yucky stuff that i was throwing up the past 6 weeks was becasue of acid reflux i thought it was because i was over eating. oh well i know now. can you take anything for the burps with out it effecting acid reflux-

I started out 207- 5'3" so my BMI was not that much either. I was band on March 10th 2006 and have lost 32 pounds-- the weight is coming off slowly for me but I do see results and I would not change a thing. I've only had 2 fills and my best friend that went with me has not had a fill yet!!! She has lost right at 40 pounds. I would not change a thing. I do not lose weight every week but then the scales will go down 3 or 4 pounds in one week. It by be 3 or 4 more weeks before I lose again but I do lose!!! Its nice to be able to go out and not feel like everyone is smaller than you, and you dont belong because you are over weight. I feel like I fit in more now and I'm not so judgemental about myself anylonger. What keeps me going is 32 pounds in 23 weeks== That's results, I never had before.
