  1. I felt the same way. It will be okay. The weight loss will start taking the panic away. I think we do have to mourn the loss of the old way we ate. We had a strong relationship with food and it is different now. I so want to gorge sometimes I would use food to calm down. Now I have to look deeper inside of myself. I am still so glad I did it, but it has not always been easy. You,ll be fine...
  2. I was banded Sept24,07. I told some and others not. I have lost pretty slowly so It is easy to be lowkey about it. I did have to have a hernia repaired at the same time so I used that . It worked great. Then people understood why I was on liquids for a while. It is hard not to talk about it though because I was so excited. I do want to share with people that I think would benefit.
  3. That is the hardest part of this ,is not eating and drinking at the same time. What is a pb that is always being refered to? Thank you so much for responding. I was banded on Sept. 24 ,07.
  4. That is so interesting. I always worry about slippage. I have only been banded 4 months. but wonder about long term. I am encouraged that you decided to get rebanded. I am losing very slowly but that is okay. I just wonder what everbody is eating and it agreeing with them I am just about ready to start having oatmeal for dinner every night. What vitamins do you take? Thanks for sharing ... Leta
  5. I am new to this site and not real savvy with pcs. I would like to correspond with a few people. I was banded in Mexico Sept 24. I have lost 28 lbs and feel great. I have had one fill and feel pretty restricted. Sometimes it is hard because I just want to use food to relax. I miss breakfasts. Leta
  6. I am having the same feeling after my fill in mid November. I had a hiatal hernia they repaired at the same time so I thought maybe that had something to do with it. I have heard when I lose more weight that it will go away or lessen.
  7. I was banded on Sept.24. I have lost27 lbs. I am having the same problem as you. I got my first fill after six weeks. That is when it started feeling lke everything gets stuck. I called my coordinator and she said drink protein drinks for a while. She also said when I lose weight my band should loosen up. It is very frustrating, I agree. Nice to chat with someone that was banded the same time. This is my first time on this website, if you have any tips let me know.... thanks
