  1. I use the same calcium chews! I get them at mybariatricpantry.com for $44 + $5 shipping for a 9 month supply (270 chews). Come in a big canister that seals tightly.
  2. My insurance is covering the whole procedure except for a $150 hospital copay for admissions. I have never heard of anything like that. Is the surgery taking place at a reputable hospital?
  3. I agree! I have a very hard time drinking them without gagging! What has worked for me is drinking them with a long straw so I can't smell it lol. Also I add crystal light strawberry, orange, or cherry to vanilla powder and mix it with fair life milk (13g protein, 6 carbs, 80 calories). It's the only way I can get it down.
  4. I'm scheduled for February 3rd. I'm a first grade teacher and I've spoken to my principal about needing 2-4 weeks off. Im hoping for the least amount of time away from my kiddos but also want to make sure that I take care of me. Also...my principal has been really great and said that if I want to come back at first for a few half days to feel it out that I can do that.
  5. Did you finish the treatment for the h pylori? I had to take a 2 week course of antibiotics/ppi and then wait 2 more weeks to do the breath test to make sure it was gone. I wasn't allowed to take any antacids the two weeks before because I was told it can produce a false negative on the breath test.
