    The weight loss will slow down once you start being able to eat more. I was down about 75 at my 3 month mark and now that I am at 4 months out my weight has stalled (hopefully not for long!!) You look great! Congratulations!! Sent from my LGMS428 using the BariatricPal App

    I met my surgeon last monday and he explained to us that the losing and gaining is why people like us need this surgery. The surgery doesn't just change the size of your stomach, it also changes different hormones and chemicals in our body. You need to speak with a professional to help you decide so you can get all the facts first. I would meet with your family doc if you have one and discuss it with them. Good luck!!!

    I am the same way. My surgeon's office sent in the request last monday. I called my insurance for an update on Friday and they said it hasn't been processed yet and to call back Monday. This has been such a long weekend lol!

  8. Anyone have McLaren Medicaid in Michigan?

    Anyone have McLaren Medicaid in Michigan? Can you tell me about your experience with them? My surgeon's office submitted my paperwork to them on Monday January 4th....still haven't heard anything. Also, it was so unclear how long I was supposed to do the supervised diet . It said a minimum of 6 to 12 months....that makes no sense to me!
