  1. I have a quick question. My surgery was on Monday and I was released yesterday. Late last night and early this morning I noticed that my hands and wrists were incredibly sore and a bit swollen. Is that normal? Has anyone else experienced this?
  2. I had my surgery yesterday. Everything went well. They did find and repair a small hiatal hernia. I am feeling way better than I expected I would. I am just thirstier than I ever thought possible. Fortunately I just "passed" my swallow test so I should be getting a drink any time now. If all goes well I should go home later today. ???? Sending positive vibes to my fellow 1/18 sleevers!
  3. I'm scheduled for January 18. Just got my insurance approval yesterday. I'm a little luckier than most as my surgeon only requires a 1 week pre-op diet, which I will be starting on Monday. ????
