  4. I used them was happy I did help expedite a bunch but would do it again.
  5. So I hated the drain had it for over a week. Seemed to always be in the way. Did it hurt? No it did not hurt at all and the removal was more worry then it needed to be. I have two drains.
  6. Only your doctor can really answer for you. However I followed my 2 week diet but did have a couple screw ups and my doctor was still very happy with my loss and liver size. Keep moving forward we are not perfect but stay on the play moving forward. Have a good surgery!

  8. It's going well. I am ready to move to the next food stage after this weekend. I can keep fluids down easy. I am also waiting for clearance to get back to the gym!
  9. Everything went well. RNY now and that lapband out. Surgeon had no problems but did say my case was complex lasting about 3 hours under.

  11. I had two tubes. Both removed today at 1 week out. I felt instantly better.
  12. I am 10lbs down since surgery weight and a week out also. Had my follow up today and got both drains out. Phew those things were bugging me. What a weird feeling getting them out too. I still have another week on liquids but I made it this far! So glad to be on losing side.

  16. I had mine on Monday. Been pretty good thus far. Post op care is good and that is helpful in recovery. Some swelling but walking well. I have a revision from lapband to rny. So happy with this New Journey.
  17. Had my surgery. Everything went textbook. Took 3 hours. I did have revision from lapband to rny. Looks like I get a 4 night hospital stay just because of some additional swelling. Getting to stage two diet today. Woot woot. Walk walk walk.

  20. Surgery tomorrow and I can't sleep. Ugh. Excited, but scared. Tomorrow this will be all over and I will be on the loser bench. Here I go trying to count sheep again.
  21. I had insurance problems with getting my band removed. I hired Lindstrom group to help me fight them and I got approved. Well worth the extra cost.
  22. I am on April 25th too, getting my band out and rny in one. So I hope
  23. I went in the fall at 375 and 6'2". I pretty much rode everything with my kids except California screaming (did not try) cause I figured the chest harness would be too tight. The only issue I had was space mountain and that was because my legs could not really squeeze between the bar that came down. That being said I made it work safely just was a bit uncomfortable on that ride.
  24. Congratulations. That is wonderful news. My labs preop are not bad but I sure hope that they are going to be great a year post op!
