Hi my name is Leslie and I'm a 43 year old living in Gainesville Florida - GO GATORS!  I've been overweight as long as I can remember but the last 10-15 years it's gotten out of control.  I've tried everything short of surgery, but my weight finally caught up to me in the last 2 years and it's affecting my health and my quality of life.  So I've finally made the decision and my gastric sleeve surgery is scheduled for January 14, 2016!!
 
I know what I've written so far is pretty straightforward but I'm new to this forum thing.  I'm really just looking to talk with other folks who have gone taken this journey, to get some support, and hopefully when I'm on the other side, provide support back.  I'm single, and while I have a great support group of family and friends, none of them have had gastric surgery.   So any advice would be great.
