  7. I am 54 years old, I had my surgery January 27, 2016. I have lost 135 lbs. I am now 147 lbs and have been happily maintaining my weight for the last 10 months. I don't think you are ever to old to make positive changes within your self. You will feel so much better and the list will only go on from there! Best thing I have ever done for myself!!

  13. I have been getting them all my life also.
  14. My regular Dr gave me the Veltrex. If you catch it before it comes out it never does. Lysine just doesn't seem to help me so I had to find something that really works.

  16. I am a female, 53 years old, and I have lost 118 pounds. I think that the cold sores are caused by the stress of the surgery to the body. Since I was getting them so frequently I talked to my doctor about them and he prescribed Veltrex and I take it when I feel one coming and then it stops it in its tracks. The medicine has been very helpful.
  17. Yes I had my surgery back in January2016 and for the first 6 months I was getting a cold sore every other week, now it's about once a month. Not sure what is causing it tho.
