  1. Have you heard anything yet... My last supervise weight loss is April 12 so not to far behind.
  2. This week I am on an annually business trip. This trip normally messes up my rhythm on diet and exercise. It is a week of eating out, drinking and food on the company dime. I am currently in the supervise weight loss phase which I have lost between 15 to 20 pounds so far. I don't want this trip to derail me. Today I did ok but I fly in today and survived airport travel. I have another 84 hours before I am back home. Hopefully able to get my grove back quickly.

  4. Praying for God's will for your health
  5. Thanks for the info I feel like I am getting so close to having all my t crossed. My doctor will not schedule until insurance approved. I should know more by mid April..... I hate limbo state.
  6. Hey Jennifer... I work from home but occasionally have to spend a week in the office like twice a year. I only need a few professional outfits. I am at the preliminary part of this process but I was wondering if you thought the process was easier working from home. What challenges did you face. I think my biggest fear is I plan dinners with friends to get out of the house... Going out to eat will be a social struggle so I am concerned of how to keep my sanity.
  7. Have you given up soda yet? Or practice the liquid diet for a day?
  8. I have my first appointment with nutritionist next week. Every one says ask lots of question but I have no clue what I should ask. I want to make the most of it so I am curious what questions did you regret not asking?
  9. This is good to know... I am not extremely allergic to peanuts.... I can eat things like boiled peanuts but raw I have issues. I have issues if I eat any type of bar that was processed in a place that process peanuts. Most of the time can be handled with a 2 Benadryl.... I prefer not to risk my life and have all my energy zapped.... It would be nice if some of the 'non' peanut flavors could be manufactured at a different plant.
  10. @chair1311...what part of Florida do you live? My surgery can not be scheduled until after my insurance approves. I know that can not happen until May. Right now I feel like I am keeping busy with doctors appointments. I have not even done my first months weigh in with the supervise weight loss so I know I have long road ahead.
  11. I have not been approved surgery but I have started the process.... I still have a lot to do like the psych evaluation and nutrition classes. Any advise as I navigate through this process?
  12. good luck.... I know you are glad your wait is over.
  13. I hate dealing with insurance... I am glad I started the process late last year. The cost of these test are expensive just for initial qualifications. I have already met my deductible. I think June or July should be the earliest I suspect.
  14. The thing about it is what does Cigna consider monthly. That would be 25 to 30 days... To meet the >89. Days your appointment would need to be every 30 days which is logistically impossible unless your doctor has hours on Saturday... It does require 4 weigh ins past initial visit that are no earlier than 25 days than the last one and no more than 30 days.... Yes based on what I read you could schedule appointments 25 days and have the guideline met in 101 days.... I love doing number analysis...I know it is a little weird but I hate when things are presented with a false facade... So I do like to dig in...
  15. Hi Adrianna, Thanks for the tips about the >89 days requirement. Where or on what page on the policy document did you get the info on the appointments being no less than 25 days apart? Mine only says the appointments have to be at least monthly so I'm starting to think I missed something. Miffy i don't remember where I read that but It was something along the line of how they considered a monthly visit. It is similar to how frequency prescription and be refilled.
  16. Just be careful of the 3 months requirement. The > than 89 days with no appointments less than 25 days and no more than 30 can not be achieved unless your doctor/dietitian is open on a weekend day. You might be lucky but I tried to figure out how to schedule appointments I am looking at 105 to 108 days.,. In the overall scheme is not that big of deall
  17. @@NewLeaf15 Congrats on reaching that milestone. How difficult was it....I have Cigna as well. I am just getting started so any pointers would be great.
  18. Is there some master checklist...Preparing yourself for surgery. I don't have a surgery date so difficult to make a plan.
  19. You might want to check under insurance and financing. I have found some stuff within that area.
  20. I have Cigna but I only had my first appointment on 12/23. I have my first appointment with the Weight Management doctor tomorrow I will be interested in seeing what gets posted..
