  1. I'm gonna be stalking this thread until we get a private FB group!! Hahaha! I'm so excited! I'd be happy to make one, but I definitely don't want to step on any toes! But it's so refreshing to hear how people are doing that at the same stage as I am!!!
  2. Hi! I was sleeved on 11/23 and I'm down 29. I aim for 70-75g protein a day. I use EAS shakes to get there. I can tolerate any food, which honestly scares me, but I'm finding it much easier to make good choices. Before surgery, I pounded water. Now, I find it so hard to get down. I definitely need to improve the water intake, and I need to get my butt moving. I was so happy to see this thread! I would LOVE to be part of a private FB group!!
  3. Just wanted to pop on here to see if everyone is finding it any easier to make good choices now that the "big" days are over. There are still cookies and candy hanging around, but it's slightly easier to avoid them now that the rush is over...
  4. How long ago was your surgery? Mine was 11/23. I thought I'd get sick over "bad" foods, but I can eat anything. It is SO HARD to not go back to my old habits. But I'm trying my hardest.... Is that what you mean? It's so easy to make poor choices?
  5. For real! I think I was so used to bypass stories of people getting sick.. That's just not the case. I actually need (oh, crap) self control!
  6. @TerraB I know exactly what you mean. I ate some stuff I thought I wouldn't be eating in forever!! (Chocolate, oatmeal cookies, dinner roll.) Definitely NOT a binge, but stuff I don't want to eat. It scares the Shitookie out of me!!! I'm only 5 week out. I told myself back to shakes for a few days...
  7. Me toooo!! I had my surgery on 11/23 and I can eat anything. I am petrified!!!
  8. I had my surgery November 23, and my recovery was a dream. I took a week off. In hind sight, I wish I hadn't told anyone. The weight doesn't FLY off like with bypass. I told people hiatal hernia surgery...
