  1. I requested, I was sleeved Dec 8th. This was a good idea!
  2. My doctor told me to take children's Flintstone chewable, not gummy. 8 a day
  3. I'm struggling to get anything in...my sleeve is fine when I try new foods but I'm 4 weeks out & I get 50 of protein, about 20 of water & a taste here or there of pureed food. I generally have a puree of 3 tablespoons a day. I'm just not getting enough of anything. I want EVERYTHING, thanks head hunger...but I just can't do it
  4. I just went to my surgeon bc of a stomach rash, he said Benadryl.
  5. My prayers are with you. One month pre op my mom was diagnosed with cancer and dementia. The day of my surgery she was also diagnosed with ALS. It's tough to go through all of this with the surgery but you will, you have to. For now just love him & be strong. I'm so sorry for your bad news
  6. I can't believe how much my belly itches! Ugh, it drives me crazy! I was sleeved on Dec 8th & I can't stop scratching my tummy
  7. . I think it's important to do mechanical eating, you may not be hungry or thirsty but your body needs it
  8. I make sure not to gulp, just always feel thirsty but popsicles do help. I don't start pureed foods until Tuesday...looking forward to it!
  9. Question...I was sleeved on Dec 8th, how long did people keep sipping their drinks? I'm so thirsty all of the time ????

  11. I had my first visit since Dec 8th surgery. All is going well & I am healing nicely. I too have a hard time getting in all of the fluids but I'm doing the best I can & that's all that you can do. Everyday I take in a little bit more. I'm going to have soup tonight...too excited! ???? keep healthy!!
  12. I was in the hospital for 4 days due to dehydration and a really low heart rate. Every day gets better. It has now been 1 week since my surgery. I take pain meds only at night. I'm on liquids for another week. I have a tough time getting in all of the fluids but I'm working on it. I look forward to tomorrow being even better than today! ????
  13. I woke up screaming that I was having a heart attack Lmao...gas....
  14. I was sleeved on 12/8 as well & no puree until week 3, I'm jealous!!!!

  16. I have Medicaid and it covered my surgery...no problem getting the approval! Good luck!
  17. I'm still in hospital, my heart rate keeps dropping. Started at 80, down to 43....I just wanna go home...
  18. No drain for me either but I did have a leak test, all was good! Hopefully home tomorrow!!!

  21. I'm still in the hospital. My Dr says I'm not drinking enough but I'm not hungry & its hard to tell when I've had enough. The woman before me had 4 surgeries and she only stayed 1 night. I'm kinda a baby tho too! ????

  23. My staff is horrible but they are having a really busy night here but I feel neglected. Haven't gotten things I've asked for in hours! Aggravated
