  1. You aren't a failure, there is some of us that the band just takes some time to get its sweet spot. I had my surgery and then less than a year later I got preggers!! I couldnt have a fill for over a year, and now almost three years post op I am just now filling. I have had at least for once a month since I was 3months post partum. I still need another! Just fill slowly til you get comfy. slow and steady wins the race remember? Hope it gets better for ya!
  2. I just took four pregnancy tests over a span of a week cause I wasn't sure, but I am going to call my obgyn tomorrow and make and appointment before I start to freak out about my band. If I am, pregnant, I will be at the end of the first trimester when my year comes up. I have only gotten one fill because I can't afford and I was about to make one when I found out I might be pregnant. I am sort of scared that I will have some pain, or weird things going on with my band as time goes on through the pregnancy process, labor, and delivery. They have what to expect when your expecting, but they should make a book called what to expect when you expecting and banded!!! If I am pregnant, then this will be my first baby, and I frightened about the band more than anything else. Any one who has gone through one completely banded yet? Advise PLEASE!!! Kaly Nicole
  3. It is all about the way your position your legs. If you find something that is comfortable for both of you, try it. You don't have to be in any specific position on top.:coolgleamA:
  4. Hey you guys have been talking about the liquid diet and my doctor put me on a four week liquid diet. all I can have with it is veggies. I am at the end of my second week and it really sux. 5. My diet consists of this stuff called bariatric essentials. It is the end of the second week for me and I feel sooo uncomforatable and it is kinda painfull. I hate seeing my friends eat. I went out for my friends birthday this weekend and it sucked. my fiance was really cool about it though he just got something really small so he would be done faster and I could sit and talk with him and not focus on the food. like right now my tummy hurts alot. the nutritionist has a patient that is now a bariatric chef because he had gastric bypass and they sent us two recipes to make it tastier. I saw this section I def thought I would post. I am going to get banded in the end of february and i am starting my liquid diet on monday. my starting weight in november was 352 and I am now proud to say it is 327. I have met my 10 % !!! Since my BMI is over 50 they are making me do the liquid diet for four weeks. Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this long period of time? Kaly Nicole:eek:
