Hi my name is Kim, I live in Mooresville, In. I've been heavy most of my life, I need a double hip replacement and a knee replacement, went to the hip Dr and he refused to fix my hips because of my weight so he recommended weight loss surgery so in the meantime I was no longer able to work and had no Insurance so I started the process of applying for Disability, took about 4 mounths to be approved after I was approved and got Medicade and Nedicare then I started the process for weight loss surgery! Took almost 2 years to finally get approved but I finally had my surgery on Nov. 2nd, 2015 and I've lost 53 pounds I went in at my highest weight at 371and when I had surgery I was at 360, I'm so excited to be working toward a new me!!!
I'm not sure when I'll be able to get my hips worked on I know I need to lose at least 100 pounds or more, I'm bone on bone in both hips and my knee but I'm hoping after I lose a bunch of weight that my hips and knee won't hurt so much and I'll be able to live with it!!! So I'm looking at several years before I'm good to go!!!
