  3. MOM actually works for me within 2-3 hours. It isn't that bad to me. You are gridlocked to your toilet for 30 mins or so. It produces about 3 bowel movements for me within 24 hours of one dose. I take the Philips MOM. It's not painful for me at all. Good Luck!

  7. @@gpmed I can relate to MOM affecting your gut. Mine rumbled a lot the first day, but it was not painful or uncomfortable just noisy. It DEFINITELY got things moving inside, however it took a second dose on the second day to product a poop. And I would agree I overshot (or overshat LMAO) the target, however, it was an intense 20 minutes, to perhaps a 1/2 an hour, but I was cleared out. I find that preferable to plugged up. If I had to go in one direction over the other, give me Hershey squirts over colon boulders any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I'll add this to the original post. Thanks for the input. Amen! Twice on Sundays! Too funny winklie!

  12. That's great to hear! Congratulations!
  13. Awesome post! I'm struggling with ass problems right now. Thanks for reminding us about our water intake. That's where I'm lacking and my ass is letting me know. I took dulcolax like a complete idiot and I swore I was about to DIE. MOM does a lot better. Thanks for the advice!

  16. Genepro protein powder is the best! It is odorless and tasteless. I order mine from Amazon and I make smoothies with it and I mix it in my yogurt and hot chocolate. Doesn't change the taste or texture at all.
  17. Congrats on your surgery! I was very tired those first 3 weeks. I would take naps throughout the day. We have to remember that this is major surgery and that it takes our bodies a significant amount of time to recover. Sounds like you are doing well and what a blessing to be able to get in your fluids. That's one of the hardest parts.
  18. I had surgery on 11/6. Trust me it gets better. I was very miserable for the first week. It gradually gets better. Just take small sips and don't obsess about the protein. I know it's hard not to. But just remember it's all about allowing your body to heal right now. Congrats!!

  20. How was your surgery? I hope that everything went well. I'm hoping to have bypass as well and I've looked at Dr. Garcia. I'm currently waiting to hear about Dr. A but any info you could provide about your experience would be helpful. Thanks!
  21. Hi everyone! Newbie here and I'm glad to have found this site. It's been very helpful reading your stories regarding wls. From what I can see, there aren't many conversations about people choosing to have RNY in Mexico? Am I missing something here? I am looking into having this procedure over the sleeve because I have horrible reflux issues. Any help you all can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
