Happy Sunday evening everyone. I'm coming to you from Kansas City, Missouri. Go ROYALS! I'm a huge fan of baseball and my Royals are heading into game one of the World Series on Tuesday! 
 
I'm a newbie and just wanted to take a second to say "hello".
I am just now taking the first steps of consulting with Dr's regarding the Gastric Sleeve. So far I have one consultation scheduled but they can't get me in until Dec 7.  I am calling another place in the morning to see if they have anything sooner! I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have lost weight only to gain it back. I am so sick of the cycle! I have made excuses for several years as to why I shouldn't have the gastric sleeve surgery. I'm ready to stop with the excuses and start living life to its fullest.
All aspects of my life are beautiful and satisfying, that is except for how I feel about myself. I am 52 years old. Happily married to my husband for 18 years. 4 amazing kids and 3 wonderful grandbabies. My husband is very supportive and loves me for me, for which I am grateful. The problem is, though, that I don't love me. It is time to take charge. It is MY time.
I have been lurking on this page for a couple weeks now. :)  Tonight I say Hello and thanks for adding me as one of your Bariatric Pals!
