I too got that question .. 5'3" 195 lbs... My response was I'm not healthy at this weight and I know what the future holds for me with my food addiction. If I don't get the tool to help with my problem I will be morbidly obese in no time. And when it comes down to it, really it's no ones business

Had my surgery at 2 pm and was released at 10:30 pm I luckily did not have any complications, but I think that was way to soon

Thank you I have been using a heating pad myself..it does seem to help the discomfort

I have a lot of swelling on my left side of my tummy .. Is it ok to put a heating pad on it?

Hi there I too had the lap band in 2002 ( 13 years ago) lost almost 100 pounds but it had lots of problems and had to remove the liquid I gained 50 pounds back so sleeve it is I will not go back to being big fat and tired again .... I have my sleeve surgery today at 2 pm .... We got this

My surgery is today and I too have been unnerved ... Guess it's just the unknown... But we are gonna do great!!! My favorite is the redi made premier protein shakes I like to add a table spoon on PB2 with chocolate to the vanilla it Tastes like a Reese's cup,.. Yum and also I like to add a instant decaf coffee package to vanilla or chocolate for a Starbucks type drink... Just add ice and blend ... Hope this help!!!

Hi my name is Shawna. I am brand new to this board. Looking for support and make friends that our going through the same trials and victories as myself. Today at 2 pm I will be having a revision surgery... Bye bye to my lap band that I had put in December 2002. Hello new sleeved life. I will also have a Hernia repaired as well... My current weight is 195 I can't wait to loose and feel healthy and good again. I'm a little nervous but I'm sure all will be fine. Any advise or words of wisdom appreciated
