  3. Thats good! I think mentally I expected a big number but maybe it's normal. Idk Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  4. @@TristanNicole I don't know where that page is but I can share what I took. I took my husband lol a comfy pillow, a sweater (zipper) and something loose and comfy to come home in. I didn't know what to expect incision wise but ended up having to buy a sports bra to wear because I had an incision in between my breasts right where the bra band lays. I suggest a thick banded unwired sports bra. I got dry mouth the nurses will give you these swabs that help but a lot of people on here suggest biotene spray, I personally didn't use it but it's a great suggestion. 5. So I was weighed today I'm 10 days post op and down 14 pounds. Not sure if that's a sufficient amount. Anyone have any weigh-ins or know if I'm in the right track? Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  6. I needed my lungs lol I hated not being able t hold a conversation without getting winded or singing. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk *to Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  7. I was walking around 3 days post op. I made a trip to the mall for a sports bra lol. Walking is good! Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  8. @@julbel721 I'm actually 10 days post op but congrats on day 4, how are you doing? I still just want some chicken lol. But I'm really starting to feel like me again and that makes me so happy. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk

  11. I feel the same way I'm so tired of protein shakes, but it's a must. Just stay positive that's what I've been doing. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  12. October 7th. I'm doing good with a setback. My sisters dog jumped on my stomache 6 days post op. I'm feeling better now. How are you? Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  13. I had horrible dry mouth after surgery. My surgeon said to just keep sipping water. I would rinse my mouth out with water. I know biotene is a mouthwash made specifically for dry mouth so that may help. The dry mouth goes away after a while. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk
  14. I've been doing ok. Having a hard time getting my fluids in. Even a sip hurts. And lacking energy. I'm hoping after my appt today I will be able to start introducing pureed foods. But on the plus side I'm down 15 pounds since the surgery. How about you?I haven't weighed in since the saturday before surgery. I'm doing a lot better today than 2 days ago. I try to sip constantly and really schedule eating, which has been a battle because I go to school fulltime and keeping a protein shake cold is hard. I'm still on shakes and haven't transitioned to any other foods but I do have broth and jello if I need a flavor switch. I walk constantly but plan on going to the gym tonight to get on a treadmill. Today I'm going to try to get some protein20 which will help me get to my protein goal a lot easier and worry free. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk Good for you! I've noticed on here that it seems like everyone's process before and after surgery are quite different. Like me, my first week was strictly sugar free clear liquids and now this week until week 5 I go to pureed and soft proteins like shakes and mashed up egg whites and stuff. Guess all the end results are the same right? Keep doing what you're doing and hope to keep in touch throughout this journey!Yes I've noticed the diet differences too. I think it varies surgeon to surgeon. Yea you too I hope transitioning to food is easy and not nauseous. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk

  16. @@CHLOE12 I'm 8 days post op and it gets easier my gas pain lasted 4-5 days now its gas without the discomfort. I honestly think everyone heals differently. I found this support group a few days ago and went into surgery not knowing anything. It's great having people to talk to that are going through the same thing or just here to give advice. Good luck on your journey and don't worry you'll be fine. Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk

  20. @@soonergirl619 how are you doing with everything?
  21. Ok jist checking *just
  22. Soup even in the 1st few weeks?
  23. @@Serenity924 thank you. Its a challenge to figure out eating at school especially with the heat the protein drinks get warm and eew. Hope hope to work transition for you is easy. I'm up and out today because I know I need to walk so a few errands and back home to rest is my plan for the day
  24. Getting back to school is important but at this point so am I. I was worried about missing days before surgery now I'm grateful for the days I attend lol. My setback yesterday is just another trying obstacle in my path. Now I'm really going to focus on healing.
  25. Yes I have rx pain meds but they make me feel lightheaded a loopy feeling and I don't particularly like that. I just think if the pain is tolerable I should be fine. I've left a message with my surgeon regarding my protein intake because everyone else on here is getting a lot more than I am. So hopefully I can add some extra stuff to my diet.
