    I am trying to decide how to proceed, while I wait for my initial 1st visit with the surgeon. Should I start nutritional counseling and also should I start to loose weight as I think I will need to loose up to 20lbs

    A few weeks ago I went to the seminar at our local hospital to learn about the gastric sleeve surgery. I had my first gastric sleeve surgery discussion with my primary care doctor on Monday 9/5/15. She was very supportive and gave me the green light. I called and made an appt. with the surgeon which is scheduled for November. I know it's a 6 months process. I am happy and scared at the same time. Glad I found this app. I hope to share my experience with others and also to learn from everyone else.
