  1. hello! as for the calories, i have no idea where i am with that but throughout the day, slowly i can get in 3 Protein shakes which brings it to about 69 gms of protein and my NUT said that was great so far. i don't eat much of anything else though. i may have a few tbsp of Soup but i'm just doing the shakes and as much Water as i can drink. i so miss chugging a cold glass of water! i'll be on pureed foods soon, monday to be exact, looking forward to that.
  2. Hi all! i was sleeved on 9/28 so that makes me 10 days post op and i'm getting my Protein and Water in but i'm still pissed at myself for doing this. i had my 1st dr appt today and found out i'm down 22 lbs, yes great, but i'm still regretful. Anyone else feel this way? i hope it goes away soon.
  3. hiya a75steam! i think the mental thing for us all is the hardest part to get over. i'm still thinking i can eat dinner with my kids then i take a few spoons of Soup and i'm done have you had your 1st week post op yet? mine is actually a 10 day post up so i'm looking forward to thursday to see the doc.
  4. Make sure you get your protein in. I was using a muscle milk shake that had 40grams of protein. That helps. yeah they told me always go for protein first. i actually got in 3 shakes yesterday, hoping for the same today
  5. doing ok so far. i'm one week out and on liquids. not getting in the amount of Protein or Water they say but i feel ok.
  6. Hello!! I'm one week post-op and disabled. What i wanted to ask everyone is how much, if any, exercise did you have to do to aid in your weight loss. Or if you didn't exercise did it majorly affect your weight loss? Thanks!
  7. he is BEAUTIFUL and you are adorable! congratulations!
  8. i'm tolerating everything they said you should have on this liquid diet although i don't feel the need or urge to eat as much. i also had a hernia repair so for me that;s been more of a healing challenge than the sleeve. i'm hoping that these first two weeks are the hardest and after that we begin to feel somewhat "normal" again
  9. I will try that, thank you. Looks like we're pretty similar in statistics bibleajosc. How are you doing so far?
  10. Hello to all. i just had the sleeve done and am 5 days post op. i was wondering if anyone else is experiencing a lot of hunger pains. i'm hungry all the time. it's strange cuz i've never felt this type of hunger before. maybe it's just psychological i dunno but it's annoying. does it go away? i'm doing good on the 2nd stage diet of liquids and i'm getting my Protein shakes in too. next week will be my 1st week post op visit so i'm hoping for positive news.
