  3. I got the optifast from the Chrisa office. The only other thing I paid for was my vitamins.
  4. I paid 195 for 12 days of powder, bars and soup.
  5. @@Titaniumsleeved2014 I am doing well. Still in pain, but getting better. The surgery was over before I knew it and the staff here are wonderful.
  6. @@nearperfectmess Surgery went well. Still on hospital. Hope to be going home tomorrow.
  7. I meant to say I eat every 2 hours. I have to be on the diet for 12 days.
  8. I'm doing great with the pre-op diet. I have four days left and can have shakes, Soups and bars. With 6 servings a day, I eat every six hours and it manages to keep me full. I haven't had any cravings which I am completely surprised about. Everyone else in my house still eats regularly and it hasn't bothered me.
  9. I'm scheduled for March 1st. Good luck to you and congrats.

  14. I just a call from CHRIAS and I have been approved. My surgery date is March 1st. I am so excited I don't know what to do with myself. I have to start my Optifast tomorrow so wish me luck. Thank you all for you positivity. I know it helped me along this journey.
  15. @@millierock Thanks. I have my toes crossed too. LOL.
  16. @@redvet I just found out that my insurance company has no record of my chart. I called CHRIAS and they said that it may be in review and possibly the agent couldn't see it yet. That's odd because it was submitted on the 3rd. Now I'm really nervous. A rep from CHRIAS is supposed to call me back after they check on the status with the insurance company and I hope it's a positive one.
  17. @@redvet I'm doing great, thank you and I live in Townsend. How are you doing with your journey?
  18. @@millierock I guess that would all depend on the insurance company. I've heard of some people on this site who have had responses by the next day. When I spoke with CHRIAS they told me it should be another week or two.
  19. I too am working with Dr. Peters and I think he is awesome. I am currently waiting to hear if I am approved for surgery from my insurance company. It has been almost 2 weeks and I am on pins and needles.
  20. @ I certainly will. I've already incorporated exercise into my daily routine so that I am ready to go come Feb.
  21. @ I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
  22. @@Djmohr I surely will keep updated on this site. I am so happy that I found it.
  23. Just came back from my cardiologist and not only is he approving me for WLS, but he is going to push for it. Seems I have some stress and fat as well as a larger than normal heart. He says that the WLS would be a great benefit to me at this stage in my life. Now I only have 3 nutrition classes and 3 Life Skill classes to complete. I hope this all works out in the end and I am approved by my insurance company for the surgery.
  24. @@auntitraci Yes, I am going through the process with Christiana. Dr. Peters is my surgeon.
