  1. Have to agree with you on the ticket prices. They even mentioned that a couple of times. It is on again at 4 pm this afternoon if he didn't tivo it. And, it's good to see you calling that NY team by it's real name.:crying:
  2. Yesterday afternoon got in for upper body and 25 minutes on elliptical. Today a.m. I got up for 2 miles in 17:49 @ 1-2% incline. P.M. will be leg workout Did you catch "Build it Bigger" last night on Science Channel. Show was on the Cowboys new stadium. I'm sure you've driven by in a couple times (or should have by now), but that show just made me want to pay the big $$$$ to get down this year. Place is PHE-NOM-E-NAL :crying::tt1:
  3. Today a.m.-Ran 3 miles on treadmill in 27:50 @ 0 incl. This afternoon will be upper body and hopefully some more cardio.
  4.:lol::lol: If that were true, he must have barely been an "outie" before.
  5. I am going to take you up on that offer one of these days. Maybe come down for a Gnats/Cowboys game so I can cheer the 'Boys on with a real fan and make fun of his wife when she shows her true colors. Too tired and had a function for DD's school last night. No workout last night. I'll make it up tonight. This morning, ran 3 miles in 30 min. @ .5%/1%/0 incl.
  6. So......when's the pool party for LBT? That all sounds really good. If you have an outdoor TV, you may just have a "houseguest" from Sept. through Feb. (hopefully):smile2:
  7. Great job MacMadame!:smile2: No way I could swim that far. I still tend to sink rather than float. Just not meant for Water sports I guess.:sneaky: As for me, got up to fitness ctr @ work yesterday. Both good treadmills were taken at first. Hopped on elliptical for 19 minutes until one opened up. Then, hopped on a treadmill and did 1.5 miles in 12:39 followed by 5 min. cooldown. This morning, did 2.5 miles on treadmill in 23:30 @ .5% incl. followed by 10 min. cooldown. This afternoon will upper body and a little more cardio. Keep up the great work everybody!
  8. Think you're right. However, even though I believe the others know he had WLS, they may not know it is still functional. He may not have told anyone, except maybe Mike, and the dr. sure can't tell the others. So, he may be letting them assume that his pouch stretched and he is doing it all on his own. That would fit his MO. Definately can eat around WLS. As far as no vote allowed if you don't finish, I agree 100% there. That is just making it look even worse for him. If I were on the ranch and someone pulled that crap, I would be voting them off as soon as I got a chance. If you can't give it your all, go home. If you are going to say that you only get immunity if you actually lose weight, they should have a rule that says if you aren't going to give the challenges your all, then you don't get to vote.
  9. Last night was leg workout. Followed that with 1 mile on treadmill and 25 minutes on elliptical. Made it in early today to hit the treadmill this morning. Unfortunately, I got sidetracked by one of my officers wanting to talk over the new physical training aspects that are going to be instituted eventually. No workout this morning. Hopefully, I can make it up today if another sgt covers for me for about an hr.
  10. Keep up the good work. But, how can you say weight training is boring? I LOVE that aspect of it, always have. I HATE the cardio part. Must be your NY upbringing and the fact that you are more of a Gnats fan than a real fan like your hubby. Gotta agree with lulu here, bad knees make it all the more difficult to do the job needed. I, myself, have 2 bad knees that I have been told will most likely need to be replaced some day. Fortunately, the weight loss has made them ALOT better. As for me, I hit the gym last night for upper body and another 1 mile on treadmill and 15 minutes on ellliptical last night. Bad night of sleep and I didn't get up for cardio this morning. I'll hit the gym for legs this afternoon and get some cardio in then.
  11. Saturday I worked 1500-2300. Got off work, went up to the fitness ctr and ran 4 miles in 37:50 @ .5% incl. Yesterday was nothing due to Easter with the family. This a.m. I got up and did 2.5 miles @ 1% incl. in 23:55. Not tearing it up, but I am getting prepared for my first 5k of the year on the 25th. Should do better than last years first. This afternoon will be upper body and (hopefully) some more cardio.
  12. Most men don't care as long as they are allowed to......ahem......touch them.:cool2:
  13. I've been eating approx. 1 1/2 c. per meal all along. I even had to fight with my 2nd PA at my check ups because she only saw the food intake, never the exercise I do. She constantly wanted to get me to eat less. I told her to check my exercise and what I do. After 2 mos., she realized that this was my norm. I am going in this coming Wed for a fill. I have only had 2 fills and it has been about 1 yr since the last. I know my portions are going up and exercise is not where it used to be. Still hitting it alot, just not to the extent I was. Agreed. How much you exercise should dictate how much you eat. You need calories to lose weight. Otherwise, your body goes into famine status and hoards all the calories you are eating. I've always had this problem. It's my inner self identity. Pre surgery, I always saw myself as the same size as my friends even though I knew I dwarfed alot of them. Now, I see myself as I used to be (125 lbs heavier). I cannot wrap my mind around it. PJTP~On the subject of boobies. I've gone from having man boobs to actually having pecs. That is a good thing. However, as plain pointed out, ladies losing size is never a good thing in a man's eye.:cool2:
  14. Don't overdo it leading up to the tri. You want/need all the energy you can get. I did upper body circuits last night. Felt a little weak but plowed through. This a.m. I did 2 miles in 18:28 @ 0 incline. Tonight will be legs again.
  15. Set my alarm wrong last night and overslept. Didn't get into the gym this morning. However, got up just now and did light 3 mile jog in 30 min. First 2.5 miles @ .5% incline. Last .5 mile @ 0. Followed that with 10 minute cooldown. This afternoon will be upper body and a little more cardio.
  16. Solid point You beat me to this.
  17. Pork roast or rack of lamb is a dessert?:sad:
  18. Ok, finally got off my lazy arse and into the gym for cardio. Ran 3 miles in 27:49. Followed that with 10 minute cooldown. Tomorrow I'll get up and hit the gym in the a.m. for cardio. Then, tomorrow afternoon will be upper body.
  19. Meh.....he really doesn't "do it" for me.:glare: Now, Tara is a different story altogether. She has been looking GOOD for awhile now.
  20. Hit the gym yesterday afternoon for upper body. Was able to bull my way through that, but cardio was too much to ask for after only 3 hrs of sleep. Today, I will hit the gym for legs and cardio.
  21. Yup. It is getting frustrating. But, I am trying to keep it in perspective. Just letting what needs to be done get done
  22. Ok, I am just doing my monthly (or less) check in on here. :smile2: Nothing much going on with me. Still no word on my possible BIG news. Hopefully soon. Had vacation a couple weeks ago down in Orlando. Bought another timeshare down there. First is in AZ. We now have 2. Ok, that's my life. Pretty boring. Can someone do a recap of the past 100 pages or so?
  23. You know, now that you put it that way, I would be pissied as well. I know my competitive side would have kicked in and I would have lost it. Plus, I know me. I tend to bottle things up for awhile. However, when i finally lose it, I BLOW, then I'm back to normal quickly. Add in the adrenaline from working out and I can see where that episode could come from.
  24. No exercise this morning as I worked a double yesterday and only got about 3 hrs of sleep. Mainly due to our GSD deciding midnight would be an excellent time to start hacking up a lung in our bedroom last night.:smile2: If I can keep the caffeine drip going today, I'll hit the gym after work to do upper body and a little cardio. If not, I will go home and sleep about 12 hrs.
  25. Yesterday, I went in the afternoon to the gym after work. Did leg circuit training and 2 mile run. Working 16 today, so no workout. We'll see how I feel tomorrow morning.
