I found out week 2 that I can't tolerate milk based things either. My dr suggested mixing my unflavored protein in unsweetened apple juice. I can do the premier protein chocolate. .I use it in my coffee

I'm only getting in about 40oz of water. I keep a food journal and I just saw my dr at post op appt last Friday..He said I'm doing good..I wasnt a drinker before. Dr said for me to just sip as much as possible

marcia so proud of you for making this life changing decision. we will always be here for you. if you have any questions just ask us. i am just now getting the courage to go to gym 1) i was not sure how hard to push myself and 2) it is hard for me to go to gym as the fat girl. my anniversary and birthday are in a couple of weeks and hubby is taking me on a special trip. i want to lose 14 more pounds before going..so that is my motivation.

I agree Marcia . .I will be 21 days post op tomorrow. .I feel better than I have felt in years. .I would absolutely do my sleeve again. .I had high blood pressure, pre diabetic , anxiety all of those are gone. I want to enjoy my kids and grandkids. . Praying for you

no hair loss..actually it is growing..I asked twice about protein and he said if I wanted to continue to lose eat lots of good protein 75% & 25% of complex carbs. I'm still at soft foodsThis comes in several flavors i just tried that yesterday and it tastes like canned tuna! BARF! my favorite is lemon pepper

I hope you talked to your doctor about my elevated SD. ???? jK you ain't right! He said he was proud of me. He wants me consuming 78-80g of protein per day. I have got to go back Dec 11

My dr told me to lose slower and to make sure I exercised as I lost so I would have less lose skin.

Rdub you are fine..each of us had different amounts of weight to lose so we are going to lose at a different pace.
