  1. Glad you got relief! I had a fill on a Friday afternoon, which is always my easiest time (morning= no food) if I have any restriction. By Sunday I was where you were and it was awful. I was unfilled to a level lower than the start of that previous fill, so now I am nervous about that. Anyone with an idea about when I can ask to get a smaller fill again? I am not irritated and am pretty hungry always..
  2. I have had a fill 2 weeks ago and suddenly the last two days I am starving every two hours. I have been writing down what this is. I also can now again eat a cup of oatmel which is not good. I actually gained a couple of pounds whilke I am eating about 1,ooo calories and workout daily to between 400 and 500 calories....why no weight loss? do I need another fill already? I have lost about 30 lbs since Feb 11 surgery
  3. Hello Indio Girl! I am checkinin. OK ad my first fill this week. Am down bout 30 pounds since Feb 9 and working out like a fiend. I did not feel like I needed to be on liquids for a week after this fill so I did try cottage cheese ad some applesauce today and so far so good. Dr. Bobby and the group were terrific and all is well for now. I am kind of afraid to eat real food so maybe soft through the middle of next week. I did take some real pills today without breaking them open and they even went down and this is what I was nervous about because that vitamin B is NASTY.
  4. Hi! I had surgery Feb 11 and am making steady and slow progress. I am down 27 pounds. I notice that the most was before I could eat for real again. I am scheduled to see doc on 3-26. I am feeling like I am on a baby feeding schedule. I notice I am really hungry every two hours. Am eating about 800-1000 calories and somewhere over 70 grams of Protein daily. I feel great and am loving the exercise. I played golf yesterday with no pain at all....well my body felt none, but a month off hurt the game for sure... So hang in there all. I look forward to this journey and all that it brings!
  5. Hey Indio Girl i made it. Surgery was good, day after yuck and by today I am a new woman. I feel good but hungry. Challenge is getting all the water in. I am a bit sore with the shoulder thing when I eat pudding...lots of walks and all good for now.
  6. I did not know banana and pnut butter were liquids but if blended in the drink ok?
  7. Hey all: I am having surgery 2/12 in beautiful Palm Springs. Luckily I live here in the area (Indio) with my wonderfully supportive partner of almost 15 years. I was excited to see this group posting and will absolutely check back often. We have struggled to establish a feeling of community here in our first few years. I am looking forward to surgery and would listen to any and all helpful hints. I loved the list and travel about 80% for my job which also includes the foodservice inductry and way too many lunches and dinners out...I am absolutely committed to the Band as a boost to my life quality! Looking forward to further connections.
  8. Hey Indio Girl! I have enjoyed reading your posts. I also live in Indio- Indian Springs. Dr. Bobby is my guy sometime in Feb. insurance willing. I am really looking forward to it and although my metabolism may be somewhat lower in the 50's I am comitted to success!!!!!! We should talk Dr. Bobby's office sometime. Interesting group there.
