I have several tattoos and am worried about the skin issue, I know this sounds dumb but has anyone else had to deal with this? One arm is half sleeved.

You are right, I have fought my weight my entire life and it's time to take care of it. My family has always supported everything I have ever done, but they just don't understand this. I have to do it for myself!!!!

Thank you both and I know it's not the easy way out hell it too me three years just to walk in to the office, and I've been working for the past six months for this, I know I need the tool/help to get myself healthy!!! If I thought for one second I could do it alone I wouldn't be here!!!

Today I am 22 days away from my surgery and I have only told a handful of people but my family is so negative. I keep hearing things like you could lose the weight of you tried, surgery is the easy way out and so on!!! I will be 40 years old in November, my son is graduating from high school this year and I need to take care of myself. My grandma died from her medication she took because she was diabetic. I want to be healthy! I am not going to change my mind I just have to be strong for the next 22 days!!! I'm going to do this if I have to do it alone!!!

I am scheduled for surgery Oct 16 and I had a list of ten places to eat before surgery, my mamas kitchen on the list twice! I think it's ok and I know I am ready!!!

Sewing would be a huge asset for myself, I have so many dresses that are retro swing or Rockabilly style, some are actual vintage that I can't part with!!! I will have to find a seamstress!!!

So I think I am like most women that have those drawers full of jeans or dresses in the back of the closet that "will someday fit again" with surgery scheduled for Oct 16 I have decided to start organizing by size... What a project!!! But I am so excited to be able to get to those items and be able to box away my stretchy pants!!!

This is one of my biggest concerns too, not only the fact that I cook the beans, rice and tortillas y sopas... But being Mexican we revolve around food, tired-eat, nervous-eat, happy-eat, sad-eat, mad-eat... New job- eat, birthday-eat and so on!!! Everything we do involves the kitchen, I soothe my family and friends with my food. I don't know how to stop that.

Has anyone used Oband Center in LV?

I wish I would have told less people, I hate the judgment from people that don't understand. I have only told my family and about four close friends but I still get a lot of pushback!

Hi guys, I am so new to this that I am not even sure I am doing this post right. I am scheduled for my surgery Oct 16th I know this is going to be the push I need to help me become healthy. My biggest concern is my friends and family are against WLS and I need to find a little support before i go in.

My date is Oct 16th! I am as excited as i am scared, buddies would be great!!!
