I couldn't ride comfortably in a car 2 weeks out. It took me about 6 weeks at least to feel like doing activities. But that's how my journey has been. Now at 10 months out of RNY I can do anything!! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using the BariatricPal App

I'm still on vacation so I can't weigh in today. I'm one of those people who weigh every day and I have not seen a scale in over a week so I'm going crazy. Haha!!! I have the fitbit flex. I got it when I began the 6 month supervised diet. I started out barely able to get 2,000 steps a day !! Actually I was shocked to see how much I wasn't moving each day! I went hiking!! I went to the Smoky Mountains and climbed Clingmans Dome. That may not sound like a lot .... But 5 years ago I tried this hike and I could not do it.... I didn't even make it 1/10th of the way up the trail before I had to stop and give up. I remember leaving disappointed. Well this year I did it!!! Made the climb... I used to drink 6-8 diet cokes a day!!! No Water at all... Only coke. I'm not gonna lie.... Stopping was so hard for me.... But I did it and you can too!!! I tried to cut back to a couple a day but I just kept craving it. I had to go cold turkey. It was hard at first and I had headaches.... Was irritable.... I wanted that coke. I started out at 306 lbs. 6 months supervised diet ended at 280. 2 weeks of Fluid took off 10 more lbs!!! Surgery was 9-21-15. Gastric bypass. I'm now 202. I'm very happy with my progress but I'm really aware of my neck. I have much more weight to lose (I'm 5'2")... As you get closer to goal does the neck skin get any better? I'm much happier with hanging skin than a triple chin but just wanted to ask for others experiences. Thank you Sent from my HTC One_M8 using the BariatricPal App
