  1. Checking in with my co-surgery September Sleevers! How is everyone feeling? I'm doing great thus far. No complications, except I was dehydrated past two days. I am really trying to remember to drink my fluids. I'm back to work and get so busy, I forget, Can you say MIGRAINE! I am focused to get them in today. I noticed hot tea goes down so much better
  2. @@Radar gas will do that. Yes please walk s much as possible! And push it out. Wishing you better days ahead ????
  3. The dye solution they put into your stomach to check for leaks after surgery. Don't worry your still under.
  4. This is one of my most favorite post thus far! I so love the honesty from everyone. I am 12 days out, so yes I am a "newbie". The things that surprised me are: 1. I CANNOT digest gummy Vitamins. I ate two on day 6 and OMG I thought someone was cutting my inside out! No more for me. 2. I have lost so much weight, I was scared but I meet my surgeon today, reassured it was normal 3. I have BRAIN energy! I wake up wired! I am like...BING! Up and ready to roll. It's kinda strange, I know I am not strong in my body, but yet not weak, just very very alert 4. Today was my first day of "soft foods", I ate cottage cheese and avocado mixed up.... YUMMY 5. Zero complications thus far, tolerating everything okay. Have not tossed my Cookies 6. BUT I DID Day (toss cookies) of surgery, it was a horrible night. I had no ideal about the dye. Horrible
  5. @@momfromjersey22 wow, I guess I can only pray it doesn't but if it does, I guess I'll have to wear a wig, weave or just cut it short and rock it, lol @@Elode I am only taking 5,000mg of Biotin, should I increase? I guess it's too early to tell if my hair will thin out or not. I am a little nervous because I wonder if I am losing too fast. Don't get me wrong, I am excited about the 34 pounds. Anyone else think I may be doing something wrong? It's feel like its melting off.
  6. WOW! Tomorrow is your Big Day! I know your super duper excited! Congrats! I was sleeved on 9-9-15. 11 days ago. I feel amazing! I cannot believe the amount of ENERGY I have! Over the weight loss, of course I am still taking it easy. But I wake up not feeling foggy. I can't wait until you see what I mean. Brain energy is awesome. lol
  7. Does everyone hair come out? Even if your are getting in the right amount of protein, vitamins and Biotin?

  9. Good morning! I wanted to share with you that you may want to consider using a different protein powder. I am out 9 days since surgery, feeling amazing. I was told by a friend to use ISOPURE protein powder. It has 50 grams of protein! Also you need at least 64 ounces of fluid per day. It seems that hot forms of liquid goes down a lot better. I have been using herbal teas, very soothing. I hope this helps! Congrats on your journey thus far.
  10. I just got sleeved by Dr. Beltre out of Altamonte springs on 9/9/15. It was great! No complications. He does have a free monthly seminar. Check out dates on saynotoobesity.com
