  1. I'm there too! I'm seven months now and have lost only 35lbs so far. I thought I'd have lost sixty by now, and I feel very frustrated. By I guess it sounds like I'm doing ok. I still eat alot of sweets, though. hopefully now this will keep me motivated:)
  2. That's my new year resolution! This time I'm really going to do it, I even have a bet with my husband (the bastard is doubting it!). I guess it's because I bought a tread mill a year ago and said the same thing, so far my toddler walks on it more than I do. But this I'm going to walk 30 minutes a day, three times a week! Happy New year everyone!
  3. I just came into this site thinking the same things you're saying! I'm eating way too much and I'm afraid I haven't lost nearly as much weight as I should have. I was banded on October 7th and I only lost 17lbs so far. I'm having my first fill on Thursday and I'm so afraid of what my surgeon is going to say. Thank God I'm not the only one going through this! Vanessa
  4. I tried calling my doctor's officce today, but I forgot they weren't there because of the holiday. I'll call them tomorrow, but Thanks, so much for all of your input. I'll try that gas x staff and see if I feel better. Thanks, Vanessa
  5. I just had my surgery on Friday and I don't what to do about the bloating and also about passing a bowel movement. Can I take something for that or do I just wait for it to come naturally? Please help,if anyone has some suggestions, Thanks! Vanessa
  6. I can't believe my day is finally here, tomorrow morning I'll be getting my band on. I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. I just wanted to share my joy with all of you!
  7. Hi Beth, I'm going on the 7th. I can't wait!
  8. Congratulations Christina, I'm going to be banned in October too! On the 7th. Pretty soon all of our clothes we'll be loose. I can't wait! Wish you the best!
  9. Thank you for your responses, everyone!
  10. Hi, I'm new to this site and I just got my surgery date, it's going to be in two weeks. I'm very anxious and well as excited! My question is how long can I expect to recover well enough to lift things. I'm a nursing student and I can't miss to much school, so I want to go back three days after my surgery, but I don't know how much I can do! I also have a 15 month old who's going to want to be carried, but my mother is going to help me with him. I had a c-section and I recovered pretty quickly, so I wonder how this compares. Please if anyone could give some pointers I'd appreciate it. Thanks Ps. I love the site
