  1. My surgeon also requires the 3 month wait between band removal and surgery. What was the band removal recovery time and experience for you, please?
  2. Today I got the call. I'm Aetna approved for adjustable band removal next week, and a new sleeve to finish off 2015. I am still in shock to be over this hurdle, but very excited! My desk/computer job gets very busy at the end of the year. I'm slating Wednesday sleeve surgery and time off through the following full week for recovery. However band removal I have only put in for Thursday removal and back to work Monday. I'm hoping that short of time off works out. Any insight from those who have gone before me is appreciated.
  3. Hi Radar, Good for you taking ownership of dinner, that is an excellent idea. This is your journey, and while all the support we can get is appreciated, we are responsible in the end for our own success. Finding ways to make this work is exactly how to be a can do, empowered owner of your own success.
  4. I met with my surgeon last Monday. I had read so much, attended two different surgeon groups weightloss seminars at different hospitals, read posts here, and anywhere I could find info, etc. I need to have my lap band removed first. My heart/gut feeling is that I will be happy with the sleeve. My head and a few things I read made me question if I needed to go with the RYN. I was very happy my surgeon said he would do either, but agreed I should do fine with the sleeve. I am excited to get this process underway.
