Lived in Alaska for 30 years, only hiked one mountain and just started very easy biking trails. After surgery, I want to hike many more mountains, deep sea fishing, vacation out of the country, triathlon....that's all for now
It's called food addiction, why don't you talk to a therapist about learning different ways to cope with your hunger. Mine told me it's like any other type of addiction but worse because you HAVE to eat. Just be patient, take your time and find something else to keep your mind off of food. And no I haven't had surgery, just been working with my therapist on my food addiction.
Going out of state for surgery, had hernia surgery 2 weeks ago by general surgeon. General surgeon suggested staying in state due to possible complications, doesn't feel it's ethical for insurance companies to suggest out if state care. What to do? What to do?
Yes, Dr. Umbach hmmmmmm....I just don't want to come back too soon. I was thinking about a week, I also have a son that wants to take care of me. Thanks for the info!
I will be traveling from Anchorage to Las Vegas for my surgery, how long would you expect me to stay out of state? How long would you stay "close" to your facility? Can u make a mini vacation from this?
