I don't have any experience with the Mexico scene but good luck!

I am in Phoenix to and was sleeved by Dr. Reynoso with Scottsdale Bariatric Center on 10/29 and so far so good. Lost 43 Pounds already. My head is still trying to tell me I need more food but my body knows I don't.

Hi cwade8, I am great have lost 43 pounds in two weeks and am cleared to go back to work next week!!!! I haven't had any complications and just need to start moving.

I am in Goodyear and I had Sleeve on 10/29 with Dr. Reynoso with Scottsdale Bariatric and he has a great bedside manner and his staff is amazing!!!!

We will all do great!!!!! Thanks for the words of encouragement sometimes this journey can be lonely even though we are surrounded by people if you know what I mean!

So I received my approval yesterday which is a record, cause it was just submitted last week! I am scheduled for October 29th because I have to do pre-op class and visit with surgeon a week before and getting ready to be away from work for 3 weeks! I am so Flippin excited have been working on this for a year and am so glad the day is set in stone and it is close. I know you guys and gals understand better than my family and friends how much it means to get that call! Any advice or talk is greatly appreciated!!!!!

I am 5'8 and 498 pds and 50 years old. I was approved for lap band but changed my mind and surgeon. The new surgeon says sleeve is best for me because I have no health issues except apnea and aching joints. I am blessed that way. I like the sleeve because it has less side effects that rny but people are telling me it isn't as effective because it isn't as restrictive. I know this is just a tool and I am so ready to change this body and my life. What do you guys think?
