Scope tomorrow! What should I expect after?
I think they call it the EDG..? It's just where they check your stomach for any issues before surgery. Which btw mine went ok. Best nap I've had in a while actually.... However I have a ulcer, hernia, and gastritis. He didn't seem overly concerned about what condition they were in just mentioned antibiotics and some Prilosec. Thanks everyone for replying earlier:) it means a lot

Scope tomorrow! What should I expect after?
My scope is 11:30 am tomorrow. I'm worried about the anesthesia. I stopped my phentermine on Saturday but it said to stop any phentermine 7 days prior. I didn't get that memo until Friday afternoon ???? should I be ok? I know this is the pre-op forum but is there anyone on here who's already done this part? How do you feel afterwards? Thanks in advance!

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. No, no surgery yet. I go for my scope on the 23rd this month. I hear it's usually not too long after that's done that you can schedule. Congrats on the the weight loss so far! Do you mind me asking who your doc was?

Hi everyone newcomer to the app!
Thank you all so much! It's so nice to chat with people who are in the same boat or have already done it. What would be the most important thing you'd suggest to a pre-opper like myself?

I'm 27, in the process of getting everything together for surgery. I don't have any major health conditions other than possibly pre-diabetic.
